Racism Unveiled – Twin Cities PBS (TPT Originals)
Role: Producer | Jan–Aug 2021
I produced stories for Racism Unveiled, a digital initiative exploring race and identity in Minnesota. My work included:
Editorial Strategy & Research: Developed story concepts rooted in community voices, conducting in-depth research to ground narratives in cultural context.
Interviews & Documentation: Interviewed artists, activists, and community leaders, highlighting lived experiences of race and resilience.
Cross-Platform Content: Coordinated production and publishing across TPT’s web and broadcast platforms.
Community Engagement: Created feature stories and multimedia pieces connecting performances, art, and civic dialogue to broader conversations about systemic racism.
Impact: These stories documented cultural responses to racial injustice, amplifying underrepresented voices and offering audiences deeper insight into Minnesota’s ongoing reckoning with race.
